Okay, so been playing the piano a little more over the past day or so, and learned a few new things.

I’ve learned all the basic chords, and now I’m moving on to some scales, and trying to memorize all the chords and shapes that my hands have to make in order to move across the keyboard smoothly.

Anyway, this video is a simple “GUESS THE SONG” type of video.

So as you may have noticed, YouTube has stripped your channels of their old layouts!

That’s right, no more good ol’ YouTube Channels.

YouTube has updated everyone to the new channel layout (cosmic panda is what they’re calling it), and now your channel background doesn’t fit with the new layout… right?

Well, that’s where I came in (and I’m glad to see it’s almost at 1,000 downloads, keep it up!).

I have made 10 (actually, 11) YouTube Channel Layout background templates for you to download for free. From there, you can do whatever you want with them – add to them, edit them, once you download them, they are YOURS FOREVER!

I’d love to see if anyone can make some really cool layouts out of these. You will notice that some layouts cover different things, like the top area of your channel will continue down about 20 pixels on one, or one may seem like there is a bar on the left side to put your channel name or something else. The point is, figure out how to best design your channel by starting with one of these templates.

So this guy DrOrphious79 recently sent me a link to a video (on my KyleLearnsPiano YouTube channel) – thanks for the comment man!

So I checked out the video, and found out it was a “finger speed” exercise, which can help with generating more speed while playing the piano.

Then, I also figured out that the guy who makes these videos on YouTube also has a website (link below the video) that gives away free piano tutorials and lessons, straight from his website! Cool, right?!

I’ve been starting to look at all of this stuff lately, and I’m learning a lot! I’m going to be posting some videos of me learning from this new website, but of course I’m always going to stick with the e-book package I bought a few months ago, as that is helping 100 times as much as any other form of learning on the piano (at least for me anyway).

Ahh… dealing with copyright on YouTube.

Some think it’s tough work, but it’s really not too difficult at all.

You see, I’ve personally dealt with copyright on many YouTube channels, and online in general. Every single copyright dispute has ended well (although one time I tried winning a Google TV and they thought it was copyrighted music, even though I made it all myself).

I also know of at least a dozen people who have dealt with copyright on YouTube.

So, I decided to make a video about it.

Breaks are good, but I AM BACK!!! Woot Woot! =)

Okay, I took a little break from learning the piano (I’m back now, don’t worry). Breaks can be good sometimes, honestly!

As soon as I got back into playing and learning the piano/keyboard, I immediately picked everything right back up from where I started. And I found that I was learning things a little faster (probably because I wasn’t “cramming’ it all in too fast).
